ToggleGolfphoria 2026 has officially wrapped, and what a day it was. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, 312 players gathered at Bali International Golf (BIG) for a tournament that combined virtual golf, live entertainment, and a gala dinner into one unforgettable celebration. From the first tee shot to the final performance on stage, the energy never slowed down.
More than just an annual tournament, Golfphoria has become BIG’s signature event and a celebration of our belief that golf should be fun, inclusive, and accessible to everyone. Each edition introduces a fresh theme, new challenges, and experiences that welcome both experienced golfers and complete beginners, making every year feel different while staying true to the same spirit.
The Excitement of Golfphoria 2026

Golfphoria 2026 took place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Bali International Golf in Denpasar, with two tee-off sessions, 8:00 AM and 1:30 PM, followed by a Gala Dinner. Registration for the tournament sold out well ahead of the event, with 312 participants ultimately taking part.
Last year, Golfphoria 2025 broke the MURI Record for Indonesia’s largest virtual golf tournament by participation. Building on that milestone, this year Bali International Golf submitted Golfphoria 2026 for consideration under Guinness World Records, a significantly higher international bar. The verification process was still underway as of the event date, with an official result expected to be announced after the tournament’s conclusion.
This year’s Reggae theme wasn’t just something you saw in the event branding, it was something you could feel from the moment you arrived. With reggae music filling the driving range and a laid-back atmosphere throughout the venue, Golfphoria 2026 felt refreshingly different from a traditional golf tournament. It was all part of BIG’s vision of making golf more approachable, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience or skill level.
Whether players joined the morning or afternoon, everyone enjoyed the same experience—from bag drop and registration to the photo booth, tournament briefing, and ceremonial first swing—before taking on the same virtual course.
For one participant, this was his third year joining Golfphoria, and he says the tournament has become something of a yearly ritual. “It’s a chance to sharpen my skills, network with other golfers, and of course, try my luck at the prizes,” he said. Compared to last year, he noted that Golfphoria 2026 felt even more festive, with a larger turnout raising the level of competition, though the bigger prize pool more than made up for it. He’s already planning to be back again next year.
Playing at Royal Portrush Dunluce Links — From Bali

The standout technical feature of Golfphoria 2026 was our course selection: Royal Portrush Dunluce Links in Portrush, Northern Ireland, the historic venue that has hosted The Open Championship. Using our virtual golf simulation technology, players experienced the look, layout, and challenge of this internationally renowned links course without leaving Bali.
This marks a shift from Golfphoria 2025, which used PGA National California. Rotating the virtual venue each year has become part of Golfphoria’s identity, giving returning players a genuinely different golfing experience every edition rather than repeating the same simulation.
The changing course selection isn’t just a technical upgrade, it also gives first-time participants a unique reason to join. One participant, who had never experienced a virtual golf tournament before, said she signed up out of curiosity. “This was my first virtual golf tournament, so I was curious to see what it would be like. It turned out to be really fun, and the course was more challenging than I expected. That’s what made it exciting, I got to experience a world-famous course without having to travel overseas,” she said.
Challenge: Longest Drive & Nearest to the Pin
Beyond the main tournament round, players had the chance to test themselves in two dedicated skill challenges before the round began:
- Nearest to the Pin rewarded precision, whoever landed closest to the flag in a single shot took the category.
- Longest Drive, split separately for ladies and men, rewarded raw power, measuring whose tee shot flew the farthest down the fairway.
Both challenges added an extra layer of competition on top of the main tournament, giving players another shot at the leaderboard beyond their overall round score.
Prizes: 19 Motorcycles and IDR 110 Million in Cash

Golfphoria has built a reputation for prize pools that go well beyond trophies, and 2026 continued that trend:
- Hole-in-One Door Prizes: 4 units motorcycles reserved for any player who lands a hole-in-one during the tournament
- Grand Lucky Draw
- 15 units of motorcycles, distributed to 15 lucky winners
- 13 premium travel packages to three leading destinations in Eastern Indonesia—Komodo Island (Labuan Bajo), Luwuk Banggai, and Sumba—courtesy of main sponsor Juara Holding Group (JHG), spanning three of its tourism business lines: IndonesiaJuara Trip, Komodo Luxury, and Bali Premium Trip.
- Skill & Winner Category prizes: a combined cash pool of IDR 50 million
- Lucky Draw prizes: IDR 60 million in cash and golf accessories
Altogether, Golfphoria 2026 distributed roughly IDR 110 million in cash prizes, alongside 19 motorcycles and 13 luxury travel packages. This impressive prize pool was made possible by Juara Holding Group and 47 sponsors and partners spanning the golf, hospitality, automotive, F&B, and lifestyle industries. Together, they helped create one of the tournament’s biggest attractions for both new and returning players.

Gala Dinner Highlights
True to the festival-style format we’ve built Golfphoria around, the Gala Dinner felt less like an awards ceremony and more like a concert night with a golf tournament woven through it. The evening featured a series of memorable moments, from heartfelt speeches and major announcements to live entertainment and prize presentations.
Taking the stage early in the evening, Ajik Dewa, CEO of Bali International Golf, opened with a note of gratitude toward everyone who made the night possible. “Golfphoria wouldn’t run this smoothly without the support of every sponsor and guest who showed up tonight, and that’s something we’re endlessly grateful for,” he said.
Here are some of the night’s biggest highlights:
CSR Announcement: “Everyone Can Golf, Everyone Deserves a Chance”

The Golfphoria and anniversary segment also spotlighted Bali International Golf’s ongoing corporate social responsibility initiative, “Everyone Can Golf, Everyone Deserves a Chance.” The program provides free, structured golf coaching to children aged 6 to 10 from orphanages around Denpasar, guiding participants from basic swing fundamentals through to potential pathways into organizations like the Indonesian Golf Association (PGI).
Speaking about the initiative at the Gala Dinner, Haekal, President Director of Bali International Golf, framed it as a matter of access rather than talent: “All these children need is a chance, that’s why we hope this programme can keep running for the next five to ten years, because if this succeeds, it isn’t a win for Bali International Golf alone, but a win for golf in Bali and Indonesia.”
Not every child grows up with a golf club in hand, but potential can surface anywhere once given room to grow. Bali International Golf built the program to be completely free for participants, with the hope that some of these children could eventually go on to represent Bali, or even Indonesia, on the course. Framing this program as part of the anniversary celebration reinforced a message Bali International Golf repeated throughout 2026: Golfphoria isn’t only about competition, it’s a platform for wider access to the sport.
Bali International Golf 3rd Anniversary Celebration

Golfphoria 2026 doubled as Bali International Golf’s 3rd anniversary celebration, marking three years since BIG opened the doors and began building what has become one of Bali’s most talked-about golf and entertainment destinations. The cake-cutting moment brought together BIG leadership alongside key stakeholders and sponsor representatives, including figures from JHG, Bank Mandiri, PGI, and local community leaders from Desa Adat and Desa Dinas Kesiman.
The milestone doubled as a moment to look forward as much as back. Three years in, Bali International Golf has been vocal about a larger vision: transforming from a golf destination into a full Sport Hub Center in Bali. That means expanding well beyond the driving range and simulator bays, Bali International Golf is equipping the venue with additional sports facilities such as billiards, padel courts, and a running track, positioning ourselves as an integrated sports destination for both the local community and visitors, not just a place to play golf.
Music, Entertainment, and the Grand Lucky Draw

Live music at Golfphoria 2026 carried much of the night, from a set by Putu Ilya Band to the evening’s headline act, Ras Muhamad, one of Indonesia’s best-known reggae singers, a fitting closer for the night’s reggae theme, whose performance became the emotional high point for many guests. Competition results were woven throughout the night rather than saved entirely for the end, with Winner and Skill Category winners announced alongside the entertainment. The night closed on its biggest crowd moment: the Grand Lucky Draw, handing out 15 motorcycles to 15 winners.
